So You Don’t Have Time to Meditate?

This used to be me, anxiety through the roof, overthinking, over analysing, playing the victim, angry at life, angry at the world and STILL I couldn’t take 15 mins out of my day to quiet my mind and connect to my inner being.

Wow, if I knew what I knew now back then, I would have saved myself lots of worry, stress and heartache. I wouldn’t change my journey at all, but I wish my introduction to meditation was eight years earlier.

It’s incredible how quickly your life changes when you connect to your inner being. Mediation is basically cutting out the noise of your outer reality, you’re conditioning and limitations and connecting to you’re higher self, the real you, the limitless you.

Like anything new, you might find it challenging to start with. Thoughts may enter your head, that’s okay- allow them to come and let them pass like clouds in the sky. Each day will become easier. If you’re easily distracted, play a ticking clock so you can focus on the sound. Or focus on your breath. Both will recentre your mind.

The benefits for me have been life-changing! My family life is harmonious, my health has never been better, I react to things so much different to how I would have done in the past, I’m calm, I’m centred and I have a passion for life like I’ve never had before.
