Why can’t we all stop judging and ramming our opinions down peoples necks?
I’ve been there, trying and trying, flogging a dead horse, so to speak. However, it doesn’t get you anywhere constructively.
Whatever your opinion is right or wrong, however, you see a situation: that’s perfect, that’s cool, that’s right for you. Just because someone doesn’t agree with your opinion, it doesn’t mean you or them are correct in any way. There is no right or wrong. It’s just how the situation or scenario is perceived.
Let’s stop looking at the situation with so much anger and start to look with compassion. Perhaps the person with the opposing opinion is doing the best they can with the knowledge that they have. Maybe their beliefs aren’t theirs. Perhaps it’s been passed down from a family member or someone of authority.
Suppose people are open to hearing our opinion, that’s great! Let’s do it kindly and constructively, without judgement. Let’s all be kind to one another, especially through these challenging times, as this is when we need it most.
